What you can do with Fast PDF Reader:

Open PDFs from storage, Downloads, email, chat apps, or Android’s file picker. Search text, zoom, follow links, use a table of contents when available, copy selectable text, and jump to a page.

View Office files:
Open supported Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and text files, including DOC/DOCX, XLS/XLSX, PPT/PPTX, and TXT. These formats are available for viewing; editing Office document text is not supported.

Understand documents with AI:
Use AI Summary for a structured overview or Ask PDF to explore document text with questions. AI features require an internet connection.

Listen with Read Aloud:
Hear supported document text using the text-to-speech service selected on your Android device, with playback and reading-speed controls.

Capture paper with the camera or import images, review page edges, arrange pages, and save the result as a PDF.

Read and review PDFs your way

Open Office and text files

View Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and TXT files in the same library as your PDFs. Complex layouts, fonts, formulas, animations, and embedded content may appear differently from the original. Office document editing is not supported.

Scan, create, and organize documents

Turn camera captures or gallery images into a PDF. Correct page edges, reorder pages, and save to your device. Use favorites, tags, file details, reading history, and recent files to return to important documents.

Use AI and online conversion when connected

AI Summary, Ask PDF, and PDF-to-Word require an internet connection. With your permission, the AI features send extracted document text—and, for Ask PDF, your questions—for online processing. AI responses may be incomplete or inaccurate, so verify important details against the original. PDF-to-Word sends a supported PDF for online conversion and returns a Word document to open, save, or share.

Listen with your Android text-to-speech service

Read Aloud uses your selected Android text-to-speech service. Languages, voices, and network requirements depend on the installed TTS engine and voice. It requires extractable text and may not work with image-only or scanned pages without a text layer.

Offline and online availability

Core reading, scanning, annotation, organization, and many PDF tools can work offline without an account. AI and PDF-to-Word features need internet access. Network access may also support ads, purchases, notifications, and selected device services.
